Information and assistance

At MCOACS we provide the information and assistance our elders need to maintain independence with dignity, no matter what life hands at them. We are always happy to sit down for a one-on-one session with people who need assistance, advocacy, networking, or just need to talk. For example, people sometimes need help filling out social security papers, public housing applications, and others. ADRC is the first place to go to get accurate, unbiased information on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability.

How to apply?

  • Call the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) helpline at:
  • (541) 889-7651 or
  • 1-855-ORE-ADRC (1-855-673-2372)
  • You and the ADRC Helpline worker talk about your needs. You might need help to pay for taking a break from caregiving; or money to pay for a class, a massage, or counseling; or money for buying equipment.
  • ADRC worker finds a service provider in your area. The service provider calls you, they talk to you, look at the rules, and see if you qualify.
  • If you prefer to start by doing your own research independently, you can access the ADRC website directly by clicking: https://adrcoforegon.org/consumersite/
