The Commuter Route serves the areas of Ontario, Nyssa and Vale and is open to the general public.

HOURS OF OPERATION


Monday - Friday: 

Morning (7:14am - 9:04am)

Afternoon (3:00pm - 5:09pm)


*No Service - New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. (New Years Eve and Christmas Eve Hours May Vary)

Rider Information


  • Buses are ADA Accessible (Riders with mobility limitations or those who are unable to utilize vehicle stairs may request to use the ramp/lift.)
  • Drivers will assist customers getting on and off the bus.
  • Mobility devices must be secured.
  • Front seating is designated for seniors and people with disabilities.
  • No comfort animals or pets are allowed on the bus. Service animals are welcome.
  • Please inform driver if you will be loading a bicycle prior to boarding. Passengers are responsible for loading and unloading bicycles.
  • Please arrive at stops 5 minutes prior to scheduled departure times as they may vary.
  • Passengers must have exact change.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.


SRT-Malheur Express may refuse service to an individual who engages in violent, seriously disruptive or illegal conduct; or represents a direct threat to the health and safety of others – this is a strict safety requirement. Drivers will call 911 in cases of serious disruptions and potentially illegal activities. Failure to following the passenger rules may result in a suspension of service.


If you find a item on the bus, please turn it in to the driver. If you have lost an item, contact the SRT-Malheur Express Transportation & Dispatch Office at 541-881-0000. Unclaimed items will be disposed of after 30 days.
